These terms cover your use of the BuildLab Homes website. By using the site you agree to them. They do not cover building work itself, which is always set out in a separate written contract.

Information on this site

• The content on this site is general information about our services and past work. It is not professional advice for your particular project and is not a quote or an offer.
• Photos, descriptions and timeframes of past projects show what we have done for other clients. Every project is different, and designs, costs and timeframes for your project will depend on your site, plans, consents and choices.
• We work to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that everything on it is complete, current or free of errors.

Enquiries and quotes

Sending us an enquiry through this site does not create a contract or commit either of us to anything. Any building work we carry out for you will be under a separate written contract that sets out the scope, price, timeframes and your rights. For residential building work, New Zealand law (the Building Act 2004) also requires us to give you certain information before you sign, including a disclosure statement and checklist for work of $30,000 or more (including GST).

Using the site

Please use the site lawfully. Don't try to interfere with how it works, gain access to parts of it you are not meant to, or use it to send spam or harmful content.

Our content

The text, photos, videos, logos and design on this site belong to BuildLab or the people who have licensed them to us. You are welcome to view and share links to our pages, but please don't copy, reuse or republish our content without our written permission.

Other websites

Our site links to other websites and services, such as social media and partner organisations. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that results from using this website or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
